Scanstrut Wins Patent For Waterproof Phone And Tablet Cases

Scanstrut has received a patent for its unique Lifedge range of waterproof phone and tablet cases.

The Lifedge cases are made from high quality, durable and UV resistant materials and carry an IP68 waterproof rating. They provide full functionality of all phone and tablet buttons and features, and have easy access to a sealable charging port. The screen has an anti-abrasion coating that ensures touch-sensitive functionality.

The cases underwent rigorous testing in the design stage and are guaranteed 100 percent waterproof up to a depth of one meter for two hours. They’re also guaranteed shockproof when dropped onto concrete from a height of one meter (three feet).
