Center console boats designed to handle big outboard engines
Fiberglass fishing boat manufacturer Ranger Boats debuted two new models today at the Miami International Boat Show, which runs through the weekend.
The new Ranger Boats 2360 and 2260 center console Bay Ranger models build on the success of the 2350 Bay Ranger model introduced at last year’s Miami show.
Measuring 23 feet, 5 inches in overall length, the Ranger Boats 2360 Bay Ranger is rated for outboards of up to 300 horsepower. With an 81-gallon fuel tank and the ability to operate in as little as 13 inches of water, the 2360 helm accommodates multiple large-screen electronics. The captain’s leaning post houses a lighted 40-gallon bait well, while the console offers walk-in access for an optional head.
Measuring 21 feet, 5 inches in length, the slightly smaller 2260 Bay Ranger accepts outboards to 200 horsepower and boasts a 49 gallon fuel tank for all-day range.
