New flagship in Cobalt's outboard lineup
Neodesha, Kansas-based Cobalt Boats has announced a third model in its acclaimed SC series of outboard-powered runabouts.
The all-new Cobalt 30SC joins the previous 23SC and 25SC models as the new flagship in the company’s growing fleet of outboard-powered day boats. Featuring a glass cockpit with dual Garmin 741 displays, a premium stereo and an oversized sun pad with aft garage, the 29-foot, 8 inch Cobalt 30SC rides on a wide nine-foot, nine-inch beam that allows twin engine installations. Base power is twin 250s from either Mercury or Yamaha, with the capability to handle twin 300s or twin 350s.

Twin engines give the 30SC plenty of performance. The boat can accommodate power to twin 350s.
Standard equipment on the 30SC includes a head compartment, wrap-around bow seating, a sink console, 40-ounce carpeting and Cobalt’s 10/5/3 year warranty. A wide range of options including a hard top, radar arch, wakeboard racks and cockpit refrigerator allow owners to personalize their boat as desired.
Although designed as a day boat, with a 130-gallon fuel capacity the 30SC has plenty of range for extended journeys. The boat should appear in dealer showrooms this summer.
