A 24-foot center console boat with a twist
Boston Whaler describes its all-new 240 Dauntless Pro as a boat designed to maximize fishing success “inshore, offshore and anywhere in between.”
The 240 Dauntless Pro is a 24-foot center console with a twist in the form of its new Pro Angler’s Tower. This raised vantage point atop the console provides uninterrupted, long-distance visibility when searching for bait fish. It’s easily accessible through a dedicated portside access ladder, meaning there’s no need to step precariously on the console to reach the tower. Both the main cockpit helm and the tower helm position feature a cushioned leaning post and Raymarine electronics.
“The 240 Dauntless Pro is designed for the serious angler, with features and options that serve the technical bay boat market,” says Jeff Vaughn, Boston Whaler’s vice president of sales, marketing and customer service. “It’s a tremendous fishing platform with all the strengths quintessential to a Whaler: superior ride quality, ease of operation, durability and comfort.”
Equipped for family fun as well as serious fishing, the 240 Dauntless Pro features a spacious bow area, where plush seats with flip-up backrests, a removable bow cushion and an optional sunshade create a great place to socialize. Beneath the deck surface, huge storage lockers accommodate a mountain of gear. Aft plug-in seating drops into the transom to provide additional versatility, and a standard head in the console increases comfort during long days. The 240 Dauntless Pro accepts outboards of up to 350 horsepower.
“The 240 Dauntless Pro is the total package,” says Vaughn. “We’re thrilled to provide anglers with an exciting new platform to help empower fishing success.”
