A panel of judges at the Dusseldorf International Boat Show, Dusseldorf, Germany have named the Four Winns Vista 255 as the ‘2016 European Powerboat of the Year’ for boats up to 25 feet in length.
The criterion for judging the European Powerboat of the Year is based on value, performance and innovation, choosing models that deliver valuable features and innovations, regardless of the brand or the market size. There are five categories: up to 25 feet, up to 35 feet, up to 45 feet and over 45 feet. The panel of judges consists of the editors-in-chief of Europe’s top eight motorboat magazines – Bådnyt (Norway), BoatMag (Italy), Boote (Germany), Marina.ch (Switzerland), Motorboot (The Netherlands), Nautica y Yates (Spain), Neptune (France) and Yacht Revue (Austria).
“It is quite an honor to be awarded this title,” said Roch Lambert, president at Rec Boat Holdings, parent company to Four Winns. “The design team obviously did an outstanding job with the new Vista 255. It is truly a luxurious and versatile boat designed for families. We are already having tremendous success in the marketplace with this new model and expect to enjoy much more with this award.”
This is the second time Four Winns has won the coveted European Powerboat of the Year award, bringing home the trophy in 2012 with its Sundowner 215 model.
