Garmin to become exclusive supplier to 19 boat brands
Garmin International has inked a new supply deal to become the exclusive marine electronics supplier to the 19 different boat brands which form the Independent Boat Builders, Inc. (IBBI).
Garmin has been a “supplier of choice” for the IBBI since 2014. Now, as the exclusive marine electronics supplier, Garmin will provide factory electronics for a range of prominent brands including Axis, Beneteau, Bennington, Campion, Chris-Craft, Cobalt, Cobia, Contender, Crownline, Cruisers Yachts, Edgewater, Four Winns, Glastron, Godfrey, Hewes, Hurricane, KW, Malibu, Maverick, Moomba, Parker, Pathfinder, Phoenix, Pioneer, Rampage, Regulator, Reinell, Rinker, Scarab, Scout, Sea Hunt, Skier’s Choice, Smoker Craft, Starcraft, Supra, Tidewater, Wellcraft and Worldcat.

Garmin was recently named Manufacturer of the Year for the third consecutive year by the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA). Other Garmin marine brands include audio equipment manufacturer Fusion Entertainment and electronic navigation chart supplier Navionics.
