OB and IO models announced
Larson Boats has announced a number of new models in its 2018 sport boat lineup.
The company’s new LX 160 OB and the LX 185 OB are completely redesigned for 2018 with all-new decks, all-new amenities, and designs that maximize onboard comfort, space and seating. “The 160 OB and 185 OB represent Larson’s core values,” said Rob Parmentier, president of Larson Boats. “We’ve applied strategic engineering decisions and design changes to ensure that these models deliver only the things families want and need, and nothing they don’t.” Both come with a standard Rockford-Fosgate audio system and USB charging and audio integration port. An optional tow sports pole is available for water-skiing and tubing enthusiasts.
The company also unveiled an all-new LXH 230 IO model for 2018. This beautiful bowrider utilizes a pickle fork bow design for extra onboard space, offering roomy bow seating with fold-down armrests and plenty of space to stretch out. Storage abounds, but doesn’t take up an inch of onboard space thanks to clever placement, including compartments in the bow seat backrests, in-floor compartments, and a large, deep lockable glove box at the helm for holding more valuable items.
A two-foot wide bolt-on swim platform with optional bow access ladder further expands space, bringing passengers closer to the water.
Standard power for the LXH 230 IO is a 200 horsepower MerCruiser 4.5L engine with a 300 horsepower Mercury 6.2L Bravo III available as an optional upgrade.
