With his win in Sandusky last week, Tom Keenan’s career earnings top the $1 million mark.
Team Evinrude is celebrating Tom Keenan’s National Walleye Tournament (NWT) first win of the season this past weekend in Sandusky, Ohio. Keenan won the event, while two other Evinrude-sponsored anglers finished in the top five, with Chris Gilman placing fourth and Jason Przekurat in the fifth spot.
Keenan’s winnings from the NWT in Sandusky included a new Ranger 620FS boat with a 250 horsepower Evinrude E-TEC G2 outboard, $15,000 in cash and an additional $2,420 in Anglers Advantage cash for a total purse of $87,420. These winnings bring the Team Evinrude pro’s career tournament winnings above the $1 million mark.
“We’re proud of Tom and his win at Sandusky,” said Christopher Berg, global director of marketing and strategic planning, Evinrude. “At Evinrude, we love weekends like this when Evinrude E-TEC G2 engines power so many great anglers as they make their mark on the tournament. From blast-off to the podium, our engines are designed to give Tom and anglers like him the power and performance they need. Congratulations to Tom for adding this impressive win to his three Angler of the Year and two Team of the Year titles.”
