B&G’s new ZR2 remote control provides full function of compatible Zeuss2 displays from anywhere in the boat.
Navigation equipment manufacturer B&G has launched a new remote controller for its popular Zeus2 series multifunction displays.
The new ZC2 controller can run up to six displays simultaneously and control an autopilot through a network display. Purpose-built for intuitive operation, the ZC2’s integrated LED indicator lights clearly show the selected display number; the included cursor functions allow for easy on-screen navigation. Notification of vital information is also relayed by critical alarms using the built-in high-decibel speaker.
“Captains depend on many sources of information to make reliable decisions, from wind instruments and sonar to chart and radar displays,” said Navico CEO Leif Ottosson. “Our new compact and discreet ZC2 Remote Controller offers our customers a simplified and convenient way to control their navigational displays with a single hand, allowing them to focus on the task of sailing their yacht.”
The ZC2 can be optimally positioned horizontally or vertically to provide either a portrait or landscape operation depending on owner preference.
