West Marine’s new aquatic-themed Pandora radio can be enjoyed at home on the Internet, or on the water, streamed into the boat’s stereo through a smartphone.

Marine parts and accessories retailer West Marine has launched a dedicated waterlife station on Pandora Radio.

Featuring what the company describes as “an eclectic mix of music with broad appeal to people that enjoy recreating on and around the water” the channel will play content from more than 100 popular artists including Kenny Chesney, Jimmy Buffet, Sheryl Crow, The Eagles, Jack Johnson, Brad Paisley, Bob Marley and The Beach Boys.

“This branded station is intended to engage listeners of all ages and let them know how much West Marine values their on-water experiences,” says Audrey Broxterman, West Marine divisional vice president of marketing. “We know how much people associate music with memorable moments in their lives, and we’re excited to bring a specially curated station to water enthusiasts everywhere that speaks to them and their love of recreating on the water.”

West Marine’s station is live on Pandora and will run through December 31, 2016.
