West Marine Launches “Do It YourSelfie” Sweepstakes

Watsonville, California-based West Marine is looking for boaters to submit photos of themselves performing boat maintenance in its “Do It YourSelfie” social media contest this month.

Running through March 29, acknowledges boaters who get their boats ready for the coming season by tackling DIY projects. West Marine wants to see images of their customers “tackling that leaky head, scrubbing their bottom paint, installing new electronics” or otherwise engaged in DIY-related boat projects. Each week the company will select a winning photo and the contestant will receive a $100 West Marine gift card.
