A new award program for boat builders will make its debut at this fall’s annual Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS), held in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
METS, in partnership with International Boat Industry (IBI) magazine, created the new Boat Builders Business Achievement Awards in order to provide boat builders with global recognition during the world’s largest annual marine trade show.
“This new joint initiative is designed to recognize outstanding accomplishments within the boat building industry,” said IBI magazine publisher, Nick Hopkinson. “The emphasis will be very much on business achievement and the people and teams involved in building and marketing boats. This will set the IBI/METS Boat Builders Business Achievement Awards apart from the many existing awards in the boating world, which focus more on the end product.”
Details about the new award program, including information on how to submit nominations, can be found at the new BoatbuilderAwards.com website.
